- Slow down; we don’t know how much time we have left. Make the most of it.
- Have a QUEST and not a destination.
- Remember: The Quest may need more than one trip – break it up if needed.
- Plan each day’s travel that morning.
- Follow Side Quests when they arise. You may find something interesting.
- Slow Down! Take as much time as you need.
- Get off the freeway! Take the back roads instead.
- Get out of the car and walk around. Talk to people you meet along the way.
- Keep a journal and take plenty of photos – document your adventure.
- Avoid fast food and dine locally. Check out the local cuisine.
- Get your rest. Stay in a nice place whenever possible.
- Fill your days with companionship, music, conversation and also quiet time.
